The Hon Jill Hennessy MP Minister for Health, Victoria visited Northern Victoria including the Kilmore and District Hospital to officially open the new maternity and outpatient’s facilities, designed by HSPC Health Architects.

It was then a drive to nearby Seymour to open the Seymour District Memorial Hospital’s new cancer/dialysis services unit also designed and delivered by HSPC Health Architects. With funds for the oncology service having been recently allocated from a new Hospital Beds Rescue Fund, Seymour Health chief executive Chris McDonnell said he was ‘‘really pleased’’ the oncology service could now start.
