Now that we are firmly into July, it is the right time to reflect on the progress and milestones that have shaped HSPC Health Architects throughout 2025 to date. From launching our new website to project completions, leadership growth and national recognition, the year has already delivered significant momentum. Here is a look at what we have achieved so far.
A new digital home: Our website redesign
We started the year by launching our redesigned website. The new HSPC Health Architects platform showcases over 30 years of healthcare design expertise. From acute care and mental health to seniors living, the site reflects our holistic approach to environments that heal, support and connect. It is more than a portfolio, it is a statement of purpose.

Welcoming Sam Snaddon to lead strategy in seniors living
We welcomed Sam Snaddon as our new Head of Strategy and Commercial for Seniors Living. With over 17 years in aged care and healthcare property, Sam brings deep experience in development, asset planning and operational strategy. His insights are already helping us enhance our design responses in this critical and rapidly evolving sector.

Project milestone: Wakefield Hospital Stage 2 complete
The completion of Stage 2 at Wakefield Hospital in Wellington marks a major milestone in a three-stage transformation. This redevelopment strengthens services and seismic resilience across the hospital. New facilities include seven operating theatres, inpatient wards, medical imaging and ICU capacity. Designed with a long-term view, the project supports both clinical performance and a healing-focused experience for patients and staff.

Industry recognition: Regis Camberwell nominated
Regis Camberwell has been nominated in the Development of the Year – Retirement, Aged Care and Seniors Living category at The Urban Developer Awards. This project delivers a refined and dignified care environment within Melbourne’s inner suburbs. Thoughtfully designed spaces promote wellbeing, independence and community connection. We are proud to see the project recognised at national level.

Continuing the journey with Cabrini Health
We are proud to continue our collaboration with Cabrini Health as lead architects for the next stage of the Malvern Hospital redevelopment. This work supports Cabrini’s long-term vision for expanded care across cancer, cardiac, orthopaedic and palliative services. The design emphasises modern infrastructure, private accommodation and enhanced patient experience.

Two more projects are approaching delivery. Our developments in Eastwood and Maroochydore are in final stages, set to deliver contemporary, high-performing healthcare environments tailored to community needs. These projects will continue to reflect our commitment to long-term design thinking and high clinical utility.
